The Ultimate Tour du Mont Blanc Packing List


What to pack for 7 days / 6 nights of hut to hut hiking around the Mont Blanc Massif.

25-35L Daypack

  • Osprey Tempest 34 Pack (I bought this in a S/XS and I think it is too small in the torso - reminder to aways test your gear and get it properly fitted)

Smartwatch

Headlamp

Hiking Boots or Trail Runners (this time I did go with trail runners)

Hat - any hat you love will work. I like to pick mine up at the local section when Ia m visiting REI.

Sunglasses

Nalgene 32 oz (you really only need 1L - there is so much to fill up with along the trail)

SteriPen - optional, you can opt to purchase water when potable water is not available.

Pyjamas - it will be warmer than you think in the huts. A set of clean, thin, lightweight clothing is perfect.
